I often turn to press on nails because I don’t have time to do my own. I bought these for Halloween and I really didn’t expect them to last very long, but I was wrong! They lasted just over a week and I can’t even tell you how many compliments I received because it seemed every time I turned around someone was asking about my nails. Now I wish I’d taken a picture!
The fit of these press on nails were perfect for me and they weren’t too thick or too thin.
I don’t use nail glue because I’ve never had any luck getting nails to stay on with nail glue of any kind. I always use the sticky tab adhesives which allow me to make press on nails such as these last for at least a week, and often longer.
The key is to make sure you use an alcohol wipe to remove the oils on your nails before applying the adhesives. Also, make sure you don’t get your hands wet for at least an hour after applying the nails. After that you should be good to go!
Here’s another tip for you: I bought a pack of 100 or so nail adhesives from another brand on Amazon and I keep some with me everywhere I go. That way if a nail happens to pop off, I can remove the previous adhesive sticker (whether it’s on the press on nail or my own fingernail) and apply a new one. No one is ever the wiser and suddenly the nail has new life!
Another tip is to use tweezers to apply the adhesive and to remove it. I keep a pair of tweezers with my spare nail adhesives.
All in all these nails were beautiful and lasted longer than I expected which made them a great value. I’d definitely purchase them again!
